New Mexico FileMaker User Group Virtual Meeting Wrap Up
Tuesday, January 14th, 2014 marked the first attempt of the New Mexico User Group to mix virtual and real attendees in an effort to spread the FileMaker word and to help FileMaker users anywhere in the world.
Our trial consisted of three remote attendees from around New Mexico – one in Taos, one in Alto (near Ruidoso), and one in Sandia Park. Those three joined the usual suspects and participated in watching an instructional video on optimizing WebDirect, tackled thorny issues in the problem solving section, and made substantial contributions to the FileMaker round table discussion.
The experience was not quite glitch free, but we learned what needed improvement and will roll those changes into the next meeting on Tuesday, February 11th, at our new physical location: 2926 Girard NE, Albuquerque, NM, 87107.
