FMEasyHTML | An Open Source HTML / Text Editor for the FileMaker Platform
Do you have clients that need to edit HTML within FileMaker, and need to see the results instantly? Tim Dietrich combined jQuery and jQuery TE technologies with FileMaker to get you started. And, as usual, his solution is open source:
FMEasyHTML is an open source HTML / text editor for use in FileMaker databases. With FMEasyHTML, you can provide users with a WYSIWYG tool for editing HTML content that is stored in a database.
FMEasyHTML is extremely easy to setup. Simply add a Web viewer object and a text object to your layout, add a script or two, and you’re ready to go.
FMEasyHTML currently supports users running FileMaker Pro on OS X, and FileMaker Go. We are planning to add support for Windows users soon.
Check out all of Tim’s open source offering at his website. It’s a formidable list.
